What should be confirmed in a technology announcement?

Before describing an announced feature as available, check the release stage, eligible accounts, supported platforms, regions, and official instructions. An announcement and a completed rollout are different events. Our policy discussions should make those limits explicit.

The distinction between an announcement and a rollout would help me understand why a setting is not available in my account yet.

I'd appreciate a clear label when instructions apply only to a preview or a limited group of accounts.

A date beside the availability information would make it easier for me to revisit the explanation later.
