Data Retention and Deletion Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2026

Information should be retained only for a defined purpose and for the period reasonably needed or required by law.

Retention Framework

Retention periods are based on data type, operational necessity, legal requirements, fraud prevention needs, and active dispute or enforcement matters.

Retention Categories

  • Support and contact records: retained for active support workflows and reasonable follow-up windows.
  • Security and abuse logs: retained for threat monitoring, incident response, and platform integrity controls.
  • Analytics and measurement records: retained according to configured platform windows and reporting needs.
  • Legal and compliance records: retained where required for statutory, contractual, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deletion and De-Identification

When retention purpose expires, we delete data or de-identify it where appropriate. Removal may occur through scheduled cleanup jobs, platform retention settings, or manual review workflows.

User Rights Requests

Where legally applicable, users can request deletion or related rights handling through the Privacy Rights Request process.

Contact

Questions about retention and deletion practices can be sent through our Contact page.

Operational Safeguards

We apply practical controls to limit unnecessary data exposure and align processing with disclosed purposes. Internal handling is restricted to operational need, and we review integrations that can affect privacy risk.

Where lawful rights apply, we route requests through verification and response workflows designed to protect both privacy and account integrity.

Review and Change Control

Privacy-related implementation is reviewed when regulations, partner requirements, or processing practices change. Material updates are reflected in this page and related privacy notices.

Deletion Exceptions

Where legal hold, dispute defense, or statutory requirements apply, specific records may be retained longer than standard schedules with restricted access controls.
