Every factual claim should be supported by reliable evidence suitable to the claim type. Higher-impact statements require stronger verification.

Evidence Hierarchy

• Primary documentation and official technical specifications.
• Corroborated third-party references where primary data is unavailable.

Pre-Publication Checklist

• Confirm key specs, compatibility details, and major claims.
• Remove or label uncertain information.
• Ensure conclusions align with available evidence.
• Confirm that disclosures and context are present where required.

High-Risk Claims

Statements that could materially influence purchasing decisions, safety assumptions, or product trust receive additional scrutiny and may be held until adequately verified.

Post-Publication Monitoring

We review credible challenges and new evidence after publication. Verified issues are corrected under our Corrections Policy.

Handling Unresolved Claims

If evidence is incomplete or contradictory, we either withhold the claim, clearly qualify uncertainty, or remove the claim until verification standards are met.

Internal Governance

Editorial policy implementation is reviewed through routine quality checks, contributor guidance, and post-publication review standards. High-impact pages receive additional scrutiny for clarity, evidence quality, and public audience framing.

When policy conflicts appear, we revise content and process rather than preserving problematic language for convenience.

Policy Maintenance

Escalation for High Impact Claims
