Keeping downloaded account archives private

Where should I keep an export while reviewing it?

I'd prefer to review an archive locally rather than upload it to another service. Is there anything else I should consider before opening it?

Use a private location on a protected device and check whether that folder is automatically shared or synced. An export may contain other people's information as well as your own. Keep only the working copies you need, and do not post the archive in the forum.

I'll check the folder's sharing and sync settings before saving it there. I hadn't included that in my plan.
