How contributor badges and source links work

Contributor badges identify a person's forum role; they are not a guarantee that every statement has been verified. As a fact checker, I still need to support factual claims with relevant sources and explain their limits. Members can ask staff or other contributors for a source or clarification.

Thanks for clarifying that. I had wondered whether a badge meant a post had gone through a separate review.
